Summary: Being honest, i didn't except too much because i already know Asbury, the Jersey Shore and their accomodations and prices... The location, yes, it's the best you can find, because there aren't so many other options... And my good comment is for the housekeeping stuff: working hard -i guess- doing their best: thanks. In the large room: no kettle to warm up water or make your own coffee.....They offer coffee at the reception: but only till 11.00, it doesn't matter if the hotel is full for the season or a wedding, there is only one kettle, mostly empty and not warm. Most of the stuff is "busy"(??!!)at the car-park(be careful and ask how much it costs!) and at the door: we stayed almost one week and nobody of them helped us during the rainy days or said to us a good morning either... and that's fine for us!!! But..... the check-out day: well, it was a different scenario, because.... it's the tip-time! But sure, not from me.

Summary: We will probably stay here again due to it's excellent location. We would've given The Berkeley five stars if their gym had a chest press which worked, and/or a weight rack with barbells so we could've made - up our own custom workouts. Otherwise it's good that their gym is always open .

Summary: The people who work there are really nice & accommodating, & the ocean view was wonderful. Since there is a resort fee, it would be nice if beach passes were included but still a great stay

Summary: My family and I have been staying here for the past 5 years. This year there were many more dogs than past years. Lots of barking into the night. Mattresses not comfortable at all. Pool food is not quality for the amount of $ u spend. Hotel should make that area by the pond an area to buy pool food and sit down breakfast and lunch. Should have a good restsurant in the hotel.

Summary: Service has gone down in recent years. Used to be a fun trip staff was always gracious and accommodating. We were harassed at the pool by an employee who insisted that we were on lounges that we had to pay to sit on. This was on a Monday morning pool was fairly empty, plenty of available seating. This was so uncalled for and unprofessional. After the fact a sign was put up at the entrance that some lounges had a fee. The damage was already done. Totally wrong to treat us this way. Later in the day same employee harassed us about towels on unattended chairs. Eventually complained and was offered two drinks, big deal. An apology from the employee was have been more meaningful. Sadly I will not return to the Berkeley again.

Summary: We were staying for a busy holiday weekend. The property was affordable and the bed was comfortable. The bathrooms had badly damaged (or poorly installed) hardware that was falling apart and not staying in their proper position. I didn't mind saving money without the ocean view, but I didn't realize it would mean having to hear the loud partying from the bar next door. We couldn't sleep until after last call at 2 a.m. The beds were comfortable. The air conditioning unit was so loud and turned back on every five minutes. There was convenient breakfast downstairs and a shop. Access to a hot water kettle would make life far easier. It was super convenient for a short weekend, and the staff were wonderfully friendly and informative.

Summary: The stay was lovely Only thing is- my room was right next to a maintenance room In the afternoon there was sooo much noise- banging and drilling. That’s disturbed my stay a bit. Staff was courteous and the hotel was clean
